Sugar free can mean a lot of things, so I need to decide what I will allow myself over the next 12 months.
The easy ones:
Cakes, sweets, caster sugar, artificial sweeteners, fruit juice, ice creams, sorbets, chocolate etc..
= out!!
The not so easy ones:
wine? once or twice a week
cocktails? only under duresse :-)
honey, maple syrup: out in the first 2 months at least
white flour, pasta, crisps, fries etc: avoid them, as per low GL diet
brown flour, wholemeal rice and pasta, oatcakes: OK in moderation, as per GL diet
dairy: Fine! why not replace with almond milk sometimes?
Basically if I combine these rules with low GL diets rules I will see progress soon.
