What I'm losing vs what I'm gaining

This is the end of day 2, I have had no problem, just had a little craving at the end of dinner. But nothing too bad.
I can't help making a list of the things I might never eat again (as I'm starting to realise, or to accept maybe? that a year will never be enough to make me become reasonable around sugar. Experience, and reading on other blogs, prove that you never kick that addiction. It's just like smoking or drinking.

So, here goes, for each dish I would love to have again, I'm listing a benefit to not eating sugar:
French toast : less cellulite
Chocolate cake: freedom from cravings
Jam tarts (I know!..): a lean, toned body
Apple tart, home made, still warm, with vanilla icecream: a flat stomach
Almond cake: energy all day, even early afternoons and post dinner
Lemon tart: a clear skin
Nutella: no mild depression around my period
Macaroons: freedom from diets
Financiers au citron: strength and willpower
Berry curd squares: pride to beat my addiction

OK, I can't think of more so no need to torture myself more; just a couple more benefits to eating no sugar: to avoid beating myself up for eating too much sugar; to allow myself to have certain foods without feeling bad (eg cheese fondue, curries etc);
